Chapter 2: Kale

Chapter 2
Kale opened his eyes on this October day. He looked straight up at the ceiling and tried to remember his previous night. His head burned like a forest fire, and his vision was fuzzy. He grabbed the pills next to him, took one out and popped them in his mouth. He sat up and looked next to him. On the floor lay Chase, Taylor, Fi, Oliver, Max, Kirra and Matt, fast asleep. He got up from his spot and quietly crept out of the room and downstairs. No sight of his mom or brother.
“What the fuck?” He asked himself as he turned into the living room. The walls had been torn down in areas, and graffiti dominated the remaining walls. He wasn’t sure if it was something from the previous night changing his perception of the picture, or if it was all real. He turned into the kitchen, and saw his brother leaning against the sink with a coffee cup in his hand. His brother said nothing, but pointed to the table where a note and a big envelope sat. He picked up the note and opened it and started to read:
Dear Kale and Daniel,
Within this envelope, I have enclosed 8,000 dollars for you and your brother to share and deal with groceries and everything while I am away. I hope you both know I love you dearly, and I will miss you lots while I am gone. I just need some alone time, and it is impossible to get it in this house. Be back in a few weeks.
Kale put the note down and opened the envelope, and saw the wad of cash within it. “She isn’t coming back you know.” Daniel said to him.
“Why wouldn’t she?” Kale asked.
“Look, why would she even give us this money if she would be back in a few weeks? We have enough food to last a month, and there is nothing else we need, it’s the rest of the extra money she had, and she’s giving it to us. She’s gone Kale. Just like how dad left us.” Daniel opened up the medicine cabinet next to the sink, and took out four bottles of pills. “I was about your age when I started taking these, I suggest you start.”
“What they do?” Kale wondered.
“You know how mom always told you that you were going in for checkups every month when you were younger? Those weren’t checkups, we both contracted a genetic disease from somewhere in out family line, and it causes the brain to rupture. When I was diagnosed positive with the disease, they gave me these pills. They prevent the rupture, but not forever, and my time is coming to an end. So here take these.” He tossed Kale two bottles and walked out of the room.
“How do you know I’m positive?”
“File cabinet, diseases.” Daniel said as he opened the door and walked out. Kale went into the garage, and found the cabinet. He opened it up and there sat the file titled ‘Diseases.’ He opened it up and saw records of previous checkups, and on the front sat the document titles ‘Kale.’ He opened it up and found the other documents that showed he was positive for the disease. He burst into tears for he found out today, his mom is gone forever, his brother is going to die soon, and he is going to die soon.
Fi woke up to the sound of Kale’s crying. She ran down the stairs and followed the noise into the garage and found Kale lying on the ground, his head barred into his shirt.
“What the fuck is up with you?” Fi asked as she crouched down next to him.
“My life is fucked. Mom is gone forever, dad is gone forever, brother is soon to be gone to forever, me is soon to be gone forever.” He said over his emotion.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa start over.” Fi said, as she took Kale into her arms, trying to calm him.
Kale sat in her arms for a moment and responded after gaining control,” Today, when I woke up my brother gave me a note that stated my mom has left, and isn’t coming back. Then my brother explained how he’s going to die soon. Fuck this.”
“Wow. Anything else?” Trying to sound facetious to try and cheer him up.
“Yeah, look…” He handed her the file with his death note within. She took it from him and opened it and read it.
“Oh fuck. I’m so sorry Kale, and I thought my life was fucked up, shit.” She grasped him closer and burst into tears too with him.
“Shit now you’re crying, please don’t.” He said.
“How can you expect me too not? Your life is fucked up, and you’re one of my best friends, what do you expect?”
“You’re right, come on let’s go.” He picked her up with him and walked inside.
“Do you not think we should be going to the doctor and confirm that? Things could have changed you never know.” Fi said
“I guess…” He walked out the door with his keys in hand. He opened his car up and they both got in and he drove off to the hospital. Not a word was said on the way. They both walked into the hospital, and up to the front desk.
“Walk in.” Kale told the women.
“Oh, Mr. Richardson, how are you?”
“You know who I am?” Kale asked.
“Yes, I’ve been here many years and I have seen you in here quite often.” She told him.
“Wow, okay. Can I see doctor Kim now?” Kale asked her.
“Sure, I’ll phone her and tell her you’re coming. Go down the hall, and at the very end you will fine her office.” Kale and Fi followed her directions and they saw the office. They entered it, and it seemed like royal treatment.
“Right this way Mr. Richardson.” He was told. He was sat down in the doctors office with Fi, and seconds later the doctor came inside and sat.
“How are you Kale?” She asked.
“Good and yourself?” Kale asked.
“Good. Who is this?”
“Fi, just a friend.”
“Nice to meet you Fi.”
“Nice to meet you to.” Fi told her.
“What can I do for you Kale?” The doctor asked.
“My brother told me about it today, I want you to run more tests and confirm if its true. I want the results today too.” Kale demanded.
“Done and done. Please follow me.” The doctor told him. They both followed her into a room with nothing, but a machine in the corner. Kale followed the doctor’s orders and sat in the chair, and strapped the metal bar around his head. The machine lowered a bar with three lights in front of Kale’s face. The doctor put a black mask around Kale’s eyes, and started up the machine. The lights started to spin round and round Kale’s head. After some time, they were going so fast Kale’s head wasn’t even visible, only the yellow light rays being shot out was seen. After what seemed like forever, the machine started to slow down, and it stopped. The doctor went over to Kale and took off the black eyeglasses, then undid the metal band around his head.
“Get up slowly, you may feel a bit light headed, it is normal.”
“Hey, what’s new?” Kale laughed and got up. The doctor took him out of the room, Fi rejoined them and they both went into another room, full of television screens. She turned on 5 monitors, and told him,” This is your brain, in five different positions. Green means perfect, yellow means good, brown means area of concern.” They checked every monitor and in the end something unexpected happened. There was nothing there.
“Do you have to run the tests again?” Fi asked.
“The tests never lie, no. You’re a lucky man Kale. It has been reported that some have grown out of the disease, and I guess you’re one of them. Can I speak to Kale alone Hun?” The doctor asked Fi.
“Yeah, sure I suppose.” Fi left the room and once again took a seat in the chairs outside.
“Now Kale, I would continue to take the pills. You more than likely are fine, but the virus could be dormant, and it wasn’t picked up.” The doctor led Kale out of the room and back into her office, Fi followed.
“Okay, I’m scheduling you another appointment for next October.”
“I thought it’s gone?” Fi asked.
“It is, but just a normal check in, what goes can come back, you don’t want to play with fire.” The doctor told her.
“Alright then, anything else doctor?” Kale asked.
“Nope, that should do it. Goodbye Kale.” She walked over to her door and opened it for them. They both walked out, and walked out of the office.
“So what now?” Fi asked.
“Now, we go and get that money my mom left us, and use it.”
“But what if she doesn’t come back?”
“She’s coming back. You honestly think she’d leave us if my brother is going to die soon?”
“I guess not, but I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions.”
“She’s coming back, and were using that cash. That is it.”
“Alright fine.” They got in Kale’s car and drove off, back to Kale’s home.
“What are you going to do with all that money?” Fi asked.
“Party all night long.” Kale laughed. He pulled into the driveway of his house, and walked up to the door and opened it. Fi and Kale crept upstairs and saw that everyone was still sleeping.
“So what should we do?” Kale asked.
“Wake them up.” Fi suggested.
“Why not?” They both eventually decided to wake everyone up slowly and not be ass holes about it. They decided not to talk about Daniel, but they told them about Kale’s mom and the plans for the night. Chase and Taylor were given 1000 dollars to plan for the night, Matt and Kirra the same, and Oliver and Maxxie the same. Fi and Kale took the last of the 4000 and left the home.
“Fi, you take this money, I’m going to go. I need some time for all this to sink in.”
“What? Oh fine, see you later.” Kale drove off alone, searching for his mom. He needed to talk to her, he needed to find out what was going on. He went to the place she usually was. Work, café, grocery store, and bars, but there was no sign of her anywhere. He drove and drove for hours and hours. The time went from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., before he actually did find something. By the train tracks, was an abandoned car, her car. He found it unlocked, and he searched the whole car. Nothing was there though, so he decided to check one more place; the train station. He drove to it, and on a bench, she sat, staring off into space. He parked his car and walked up to the bench and sat down on the opposite side.
“This is only going to make it harder.” She said.
“You know you’re coming back, so it’s making it easier.”
“Not the best choice of words.”
“Even if you were leaving, why would you?”
“Do you have any clue how hard it would be to watch your two sons die?”
“I’m not going to die, I went to the hospital today, it’s gone from my brain.”
“It will come back, I promise you.”
“And if it doesn’t?”
“I still have to watch your brother die.”
“Mom, we are going to need you, you can’t leave us. What will we do for the bills, food, and everything else?”
“I gave you enough to last you a month, figure it out from there.”
“No, you’re coming back, and you know it.”
“I don’t know yet.”
“So am I not fucking good enough for you now?”
“That’s not what I mean and you know it Kale.”
“Well, it sure seems like you do. You won’t watch my brother, but I’m going to live, but obviously my life isn’t good enough for you to watch turn to shit without you.”
“You and your brother are going to fucking die, I’m not going to sit and watch it helplessly.”
“Grow up and fucking bear it. You are a mom now, you have been for seventeen years. You should have grown up a long time ago and learned to love your kids to death. We need you now most of all, do not fucking leave us.” Just then the train roared its engine and horn as it came towards the station.
“You just don’t understand.” She got up and went to the boarding dock.
“So, this is it? You’re really leaving us forever?”
“I have no choice Kale, I am sorry.”
“Sorry? I’m not a fucking two-year-old. You don’t know sorry. Sorry is something you say after you hurt someone. Sorry is something you say after you lie to someone. But sorry is not something you say when you decide to leave a kid before he dies.”
“I love you, and you know I always will.”
“Talk is cheap. That doesn’t mean anything coming from you. You love me so much you’re deciding to leave me before I die. That sure sounds like love.”
“Goodbye Kale.” She entered the train, and walked down the hall.
“Fuck you mom. Thanks for everything.” He didn’t bother chasing her down, she was gone and there was no changing it.

“So Taylor, what do you want to do?” Chase asked.
“I can think of three things. One doesn’t involve anything, she said as she ripped at his shirt. Two we go buy spliff for the party later. Three we go and invite people for tonight.”
“One sounds nice.” Chase responded as he took her arm and pulled her up Kale’s stairs and into his bedroom. The did their business, and at the end, Matt walked in, not expecting anything.
“Oh shit.” He said.
“It’s okay, come join the party!” Chase said as he motioned for Matt to come over.
“I’m fine, thanks anyway.”
“Oh come on Matt, what are you afraid to get a little dirty?” Taylor asked him.
“Not my exact words, but I needed to tell you guys that everything has been taken care of for later, we just need you 1000 dollars to pay the DJ.”
“You aren’t getting any of it unless you come join in.” Chase said.
“How the hell do I join in? You guys seem to be done.”
“He may be done. I may be done. But you aren’t done.” Taylor said seductively.
“I’m just going to go.” Matt said almost reluctantly as he walked out and down the stairs.
“Did you get the money?” Kirra asked.
“No they wouldn’t stop fucking around, so I left without it.”
“Oh wow, silly Matty.” Kirra walked off and up the stairs. She walked in the room and told them,” I need that money.”
“Matt to afraid to come and join us?” Taylor asked.
“Then why wont he come?” Chase asked.
“Oh, I don’t know. Matty is to silly to understand, I don’t bother.”
Taylor laughed and said,” The money is in Chases jeans pocket.”
“Where is his jeans?”
“Over there on the balcony.” Taylor told her.
“Wow, that sounds nice.” Kirra walked over to the balcony door and opened it up. She walked out and picked up his jeans. She removed the money from the pockets and dropped the jeans. She closed the balcony door and walked out of the room. She returned to where Matt was and saw he was now with Maxxie and Oliver.
“Hey Maxxie, hey Olive.”
“Olive?” Max asked.
“Yeah, it’s a good name. Let’s see. He’s Matty, he’s Olive, and you’re Maxxie.”
“Wow okay then.”
“Kirra, how is it to be back in the free world now?” Oliver asked.
“It’s quite nice now. No more fake ‘happiness is the key to life’ voices.”
“Sounds nice. So all you did was listen to people tell you to be happy all day?”
“Pretty much. When I was admitted with depression and the problems with my brain, they gave me the pills and happy classes.”
“Happy classes? That sounds dirty.” Oliver laughed.
“Wow Olive. Still like a two year old I see.”
“That’s me, the two year old. So what are going to do now?” Just then the doorbell rang. Kirra went to answer it, and outside was the DJ, and everything to set up. They all contributed to the cause of the party, and it was all set up just in time.
The people came in herds, as they rushed inside the house. Kale had already missed at least four hours of his own party by the time he came home. He came to the sound of blaring music, and the sight of lights flashing everywhere. He entered the house, and went upstairs. He took his pills, which included the prescribed pills, his drug pills, and his Viagra. He went down stairs to go catch up with his friends, when he was stopped by Angie.
“Hello Kale.” She told him.
“Hey Angie, who invited you?”
“Maxxie did, he said you wanted me here most of all, so why not.”
“Of course Max did, have to get him later.”
“Do you not want me here?”
“Oh no, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Oh okay, so how are you.”
“I’m okay, but there’s one thing wrong.” Kale explained.
“Oh, and what’s that?” She asked.
“Well, my best bud invited this girl here, and I really want to dance with her, but I don’t know if she’s interested in dancing.” Kale said trying to sound smooth.
“I think she might be.” Angie said as she started to dance with Kale. Kale felt the Viagra take toll,” Shit.” He said out loud.
“What’s wrong?”
“Oh nothing.” He said as he stepped on her feet.
“Ouch Kale!” She said as she looked down and saw what the Viagra had done to Kale.
“I gotta go, bye Kale.” She said abruptly as she removed herself from Kale’s grasp.
“What’s wrong?” Kale asked.
“I can’t do this, it isn’t right.” She said as she opened the door. Kale chased after her, but she got in her car and ran away.
“One more thing to add to my list of bad things…” He returned to trying to fine his friends, and he did find them. Maxxie was to busy freaking with Taylor to talk to, Chase was to busy with Kirra and Matt, and Oliver was no where to be found. He walked into the kitchen where he saw Fi pouring a glass of beer.
“Want some?” She asked Kale.
“Sure, why not.” She poured him a glass and he took it from her. “Cheers to the worst day of Kale Richardson’s life.”
“Cheers?” Fi said questioningly as she toasted with Kale.
“Why aren’t you dancing with them?” Kale asked.
“I was with Oliver, when some slut came over and took him away up stairs. How ‘bout yourself?” She asked.
“Max had invited Angie for me, but my pills killed me.” He looked down, and she followed his motions.
“Wow, I see. Well would you like to go out there with me?” Fi asked.
“I would.” Kale said. They walked over to where Maxxie and Taylor were and joined in.
Daniel went up to Kale and asked to speak with him. Kale followed him into the kitchen where the talked.
“Did you fine mum?” Daniel asked.
“Yeah, but now she’s gone, and she ain’t coming back.”
“You’re just figuring that out?”
“Well it took a while for me to realize what type of person she was. It just kills me how she could leave us like that.”
“She’s just like dad, but she had to stick around longer. Here.” He said as he handed Kale a piece of paper.
“This is dad’s address, I’ve been in touch with him for a while and when I’m gone go to him and he’ll help you.”
“What the fuck? You’ve been in contact with dad this whole time and you didn’t bother to tell me?”
“We all have. Mom never lost touch with him since the day he left. Then a few years ago she told me. Now it’s time I tell you.”
“Thanks, I guess. When do you think you’re going to be…gone.”
“I guess a few months, but I really don’t know. I heard you went to the hospital today from Fi.”
“Yeah, I did. Apparently, it has disappeared inside my body somewhere or has gone out.”
“Congratulations. I wish mine was gone, I’m going to miss this. These parties, you, everything.”
“I’m sorry Dan, I don’t know what I’m going to do without you too.” They both gave each other a brotherly hug and went there separate ways. Kale rejoined with the other three, and they all danced the entire night. “Hey hey stop that!” Kale shouted at two guys in the corner of the room.
“Stop what?” They said in a drunken voice as the continued to destroy their surroundings.
“You can’t do that! This is my house!”
“Like we give a shit.” They both laughed and picked up a pot that was on the table.
“Be careful with that, it’s an antique!”
“Oh really? Then you take it.” They threw the pot, but the throw was off and Kale was unprepared. The pot hit Kale directly on the head, and he was thrown into a endless sleep.

“Kale! Kale!” Fi screamed as she rushed over to Kale’s unconscious body followed by Max and Taylor.
“What the fuck is wrong with you two!” Fi yelled.
“Hey, it isn’t our fault he didn’t catch it.”
“Fuck off both of you!” Taylor yelled at them. Max carried Kale up the stairs into an empty bedroom.
“Should we stay with him?” Max asked.
“I don’t know, it’s up to you.” Taylor said.
“Are any of you going to?” said Max.
“I guess. Not all night, but for some of it.” Taylor responded.
“Yeah, me too.” Fi said, and they did. Bit by bit, the partying quieted down from downstairs until everyone was gone and only the four remained with Kale. Then eventually, only Kale was left in the house.
Kale woke up again this morning and his head ached even worse than the night before. He remembered everything that happened the previous day, and it only made his head ache more. He took his normal pills, but today they included aspirin. He went downstairs, and today’s house was even worse than the house the day before. Trash was everywhere, windows were broken, graffiti was everywhere, and the walls had holes in them. He went into the bathroom to do his normal things. He did them, and right when he was about to leave the house, his friends showed up at the door. Kale opened it for them and they rushed inside the house.
“Shit man, what the fuck happened?” Oliver asked.
“It wasn’t like this when you left?”
“Not even close, it looked almost perfect.”
“Then what the fuck happened…”
“Who knows.” Oliver again replied.
“What do you guys want anyways.”
“Just to see how you were feeling and if you had any plans today.” Fi said.
“We were with you almost all night. So, how do you feel?” Taylor asked.
“Yeah dude. You looked like shit last night, how are you?” Maxxie asked.
“My head burns like hell, but other than that and every other matter, I’m fine. I was planning on going to see my dad, my brother told me he lives nearby and will help.”
“Your dad?” Max said astounded.
“Yeah, apparently he still talked to my mom and brother, but not me.”
“How about I’ll go with you and you guys help with the house.” Fi said.
“Fuck no, I don’t do cleaning.” Chase said.
“Then don’t. I don’t give a shit whether you do or don’t.” Said Kale.
“Hey, I’ll go too, I want to help too.” Max proclaimed.
“Fine then, let’s go.” Max, Fi, and Kale left the house. They got in the car and drove off to the address listed on the paper provided by Daniel. They pulled in front of the house, and went up to the door. Kale knocked and a snooty, stuck-up woman answered the door.
“Yes?” She said.
“Hi, I came to see Charles.” Kale said.
“Kale? Is this Kale?”
“Oh my gosh! I haven’t seen you since you were a baby. Come in please, come in.” They all walked in and were told to sit on a couch.
“Are these your friends?”
“Yeah, that’s Fi and that’s Maxxie.”
“Obliged to meet you both. Kale, I would like you to meet your half brother. This is Chris.” (lol Marissa get it?) She said as she picked up a baby from a cradle. Kale looked at the baby and smiled. “How old is he?”
“Just turned two last week. Anyways, what did you need with your dad? Do you need money?”
“Well, I need his help more than money, may I speak with him?”
“One second honey, will you hold the baby while I speak to him?” She said as she handed him Chris and opened a door and went inside. The three sat there as the listened to the conversation from the other room.
“Kale is here Charles.”
“What!! Get rid of him now!”
“He needs your help though, won’t you at least speak to him?”
“No! He wants money or something, I know how his family is.”
“Please will you at least confront him?”
“I will not, and that’s final. It’s hard enough having to know Daniel, get rid of him!”
“Yes of course.” She opened the door back up and saw Kale standing up watching the door.
“He wants you to leave I’m sorry.” Kale jiggled in his standing spot for a while, and Chris fell from his hands onto the floor.
“Wahhhh! Wahhhh!” The baby went after the pulse of the landing reached his body. Kale ran out the front door as fast as he could.
“I’ll stay here and I’ll talk to his dad.” Max said as Fi chased after Kale. Kale ran and ran with Fi trying to keep up behind him. He ran until he got to a familiar place, the train station bench. Fi sat down right next to him and waited for him to speak.
“You know I talked to my mom on this very bench yesterday.”
“You---You talked to your mom?”
“Yeah, when I left you I went searching for her.”
“I figured that, but you actually talked to her?”
“She told me she didn’t want to watch us die, so she had to leave.”
“What the fuck?”
“Yeah, I told her she needed to grow up and bear it, but she told me I just wouldn’t understand so she had to leave.”
“Wow, that’s just not right. It’s your job as a parent to comfort your kids and help them, not run away…”
“Exactly. I watched her enter the train and leave, it’s hard to believe a person would do that you know?”
“I do know. That’s how I feel everyday with my dad.”
“I don’t know what I’m going to do now. My mom is gone indefinitely, my brother is soon to die, and my dad refuses to help me.” Kale said as he took a cigarette out of his pocket and lighted it.
“You know Kale, look at your life. You have all these horrible things going on at the moment, but you also have some great things in your life.”
“Oh yeah, and what is that?”
“Me. Maxxie. And everyone else that loves you. Those people who came to your house to help you today, they are your family. They would die for you. I’d say that’s enough in itself to make someone happy. Enjoy your final days with your brother, enjoy your days with us. Just don’t look at the bad things going on. Throw it all away, start fresh. Start new.” Kale nodded and Fi reached over to hold him. He laid his head in her shoulder, and they didn’t talk.

Maxxie watched her pick the baby up and soothe it.
“Now, there’s nothing I can do for you either so how about you just leave.”
“I don’t think so. We came here for a purpose and we’re going to get that purpose completed.” Max marched into the room where Charles was and saw him in a chair reading a newspaper.
“What the fuck is wrong with you. That’s your fucking son and you don’t have the courage to talk to him?”
“Who the hell are you to come in here and tell me what I do wrong.” He replied almost shocked at the accusations.
“I’m someone who gives a fuck for your son. But I see you don’t, which gives me all the right to tell you what you’re doing wrong. His mother ran away because she doesn’t want to see them die, and you’re doing the same!”
“She uh---She ran away?”
“Yes she did and by the looks of it she isn’t coming back.”
“Of fucking course. What do you want me to do!”
“Be a father…” Maxxie left the room and charged out of the house without another word. He got out phone and called Fi, but no answer.
“Come in her please.” A voice said from behind Max. Maxxie shout around and saw Charles standing right in front of him. He followed him inside and up the stairs to a higher level. They both went into another room filled with work papers. Charles pulled out an old file that was all dusty. He blew off the dust and opened it up.
“Give this to Kale and Daniel. Inside are things that will help given their state of crisis.”
“Thank you sir.” They both went back down the stairs and Maxxie left the house. He called Fi once again, and this time she picked up.
“We’re coming back, be five minutes Max.” She said.
“Oh alright, see you then.” Max hung out on the bumper of the car until they showed up.
“You okay Kale?”
“Never better.” They came back to the house all clean and nice.
“Hey how did it go guys?” Taylor asked as she saw them walk in.
“He gave Max this folder, but that’s it.” Kale explained.
“He didn’t give it to you?” Kirra asked.
“Uh, it’s a long story for another day.” Kale took the folder upstairs, alone, and opened it up. Inside were bonds and other papers signed Kale Richardson and Daniel Richardson. After trying to calculate the amount of money enclosed, Kale was shocked. An approximate of 500,000 dollars was addressed to him and his brother along with the deeds to an apartment near the school. Kale so ecstatic ran all the way down the stairs and alerted everyone about what was happening. Everyone of course was excited and Chase suggested,” Anyone up for partying tonight?”

They entered the club in a very “all eyes on us” way. They immediately started to dance, and they got drinks. Once Kale was totally hammered, he decided to start the real partying. He stayed at the club until closing hours in the early morning. He took a cab home, and he entered the house. He went up his stairs, and that was when he heard it. The crying pain of someone choking to death. He ran in the direction of the noise and he saw his brother in mid air pulling at a rope tied around his neck. He had tried to commit suicide, and he realized it was a bad idea.
Kale frantically searched for something sharp to cut the rope with. He opened up drawers, and at the very back of the last one, he found a knife. He cut at the rope as fast as he could, and his brother eventually fell to the floor.
“Daniel why! Don’t do this to me. Not another person, not another.” It was to late, he felt his brothers body go limp in his arms. Kale burst into tears. He squeezed his brother as tight as he could in his arms and cried into his shirt.
“Daniel…Why.” He screamed as tears streamed down his face.”
“Hey Kale! We came over to talk to you open up!” A call came from below. That was when they heard the screams coming from Kale’s mouth. Chase, Matt, Oliver, and Max pounded on the door until it came lose and went tumbling down. They ran up the stairs as fast as they could and they saw Kale sitting on the floor with his brothers limp body in his hands. The girls screamed at the sight and the police were called immediately.

The funeral was held the following Saturday. Everyone placed a gift in the beautiful white coffin Daniel was to be buried in. Each gift was some sort of memento, but Kale was the most generous of all. He put his brother’s share of the money from his father in the coffin with his body.

Kale followed the address his father had given him, and saw his new apartment. He spent the next few days packing up his stuff and moving it over. Once everything was moved in Kale had another problem.
He spent his last night in his original home, and woke up at his normal time. He went into the bathroom, and stripped off his clothes. He stepped in the shower, turned it on, but was rudely disrupted by an old homeless man.
“I’m trying to sleep here, do you mind?”
“What the fuck are you doing?”
“Uh, sleeping?”
“Get out of my house now!” Kale picked him up and tried to throw him out of the bathroom.
“It’s not your house when your leaving.”
“Get the fuck out!”
“Whoa, I think you need to leave this house like you’re supposed to.” The homeless man struggled with Kale as he went down the stairs. He opened the door and said,” Good riddance.” Kale tried to get back in the house in every way he could think of, but it was no use.

“This is how you do it.” Kirra said. Kirra walked over to Bryan and said,” Wow, I really like your top.”
“Can I uh, have it?” Kirra asked.
“Oh, it’s not for me, just a friend of mine needs it, he’s naked and all.”

“Max, I bet you twenty she won’t get it.” Oliver said.
“I’ll take that.” He laughed.

Kirra whispered into Bryans ears and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Bryan wide eyed, took his shirt off and handed it to her. Kirra walked away, when Taylor said,” Kirra you forgot the jeans!”
“Oh, that’s silly. Why don’t you get them?”
“Fine I will. Want to bet?”
“Fifty says you can’t.” Max said.
“You’re on.” Taylor walked up to another guy in the hall and said,” Hey Mikey, I was wondering if you could do me just this one little favor.” She pushed him against the wall and continued,” Could I possibly borrow your jeans?

“Twenty says she can.” Oliver said.
“Fine.” Max said.

“I don’t really want to walk around nude all day, you got any other offers?”
“What is this a fucking game?” Taylor asked.
“I just can’t sorry.” Taylor walked back in shame, she had failed.
“Fuck! What the hell happened!”
“I don’t know, what happened!”
“Hey I bet all three of you I can get his jeans.” Max butted in.
“What!” Taylor yelled.
“Take the bet or not?” They all agreed, and Max walked up to Mikey.

“Fuck what’s he doing?” Taylor said.

Mikey undid his belt and took off his jeans and handed them to Max. Max whispered something in his ear and brought them back, smiling. Max took in his payment of money and they walked off to find Kale.
Once inside the psychology classroom, they saw Kale with a towel around him sitting on the tables.
“Kale, I think we found something you may like.” Kirra said. “Just your color.” She said as she handed him the pink shirt that she had obtained.
“I got you these too buddy.” Max said as he handed him the jeans.
“Thanks guys.” Kale said as he put the shirt on and attempted to slide the jeans on.
“I see you got quite the crowd over here!” Chase said nudging Kale.
“Well once they see the slight bit of cock around here, they seem to jump so what do you expect.”
“Good point.” Chase agreed.
“Thanks Angie. For everything I would still be running around naked if it weren’t for all of you.”
“I told you Kale. We’re always going to be here for you.” Fi said.
“Well then again. I guess I could’ve just gone to my new apartment instead.”
“A little late for that now isn’t it.” Taylor responded.
“A little late for a lot of things though. Well, I’m going to my new home, anyone wanna come?” Everyone joined Kale except Angie, who said her goodbyes. They walked into the apartment complex, and up the stairs. They came to Kale’s room, and he opened it up.
“So where do we go from here?”

Chapter 1: Everyone

Chapter 1 Everyone
7:00 A.M. and it’s Saturday morning. Chase reluctantly got out of bed to start the day. He went about his normal things. Blared his music just to piss the neighbors and his parents off, did his normal stretches to maintain his figure, and take a shower. After, he went to his bedroom window, moved the curtain out of the way, and waited to see his sister Olivia come home. After about 5 minutes, he saw her walk up the street. She went to the trash can and took out a plastic bag that contained her pajamas. She put them on, and quietly crept into the house, hoping her parents would not notice. Chase's music blared out the noise of the front door, enabling her to creep up the stairs and into her bedroom.
Olivia was the typical “desire” of the boys at school. She had a perfect tan that shined out like a light. Her body was proportional and it had just the right curves in the right places. She had brownish/black hair that hung down a few inches past the shoulders. She was always seen wearing a brownish pink shade on her lips with black mascara, and the normal makeup. Her normal clothes were anything that showed that she was a party girl and a sort of slut.
Once in her room, she too did her normal things for the day. Chase went into her room, and started to question her.
“ Where did you go last night?” Chase asked.
“ A party.”
“ No shit, what kind of party?”
“ Some party that you weren’t invited too.”
“ Did you do anything else?”
“ Yes Chase, I got high off some marijuana and screwed around with everyone there, now if you don’t mind I’m going to take a shower before Dad smells anything.” She laughed at her own comment, took clothes out of her dresser and left the room with Chase standing there with a “wow” look on his face.
Chase went downstairs not bothering to say anything to his parents, he walked out the door. Unsure about what anyone was doing today, he got out his phone and decided to call Matt his best mate since elementary. He called him, but of course no answer. So, he decided to just leave a message.
“Matt, why the hell do you have your phone on if you’re asleep. You’re obviously not asleep, so pick up your fucking phone or I’ll call your dad and make up shit.” He hung up the phone and then decided to call someone else. Next on his list was Taylor. He knew he was a total ass to her, but they seemed to have a pretty good relationship together. He dialed the number and of course, she did pick up.
“ Hey herp.”
“ Chase, how many times do I have to tell you too not call me that. It was an allergic reaction I do not have herpes you ass.”
Chase laughed and said,” Keep telling yourself that, you’re just lucky I don’t care. Anyways, what are you doing today?”
“ Well, Kirra is getting out of her institution today. Supposedly, she’s learned to take her pills. Then, tonight were gonna go to the prep’s party and teach them how to actually do shit. Did you talk to Matt yet? Kirra wants to meet him.”
“ No, the twat won’t answer his phone. Should I try again?”
“ Yah, goodbye.” She abruptly hung up the phone and waited for Chase to call back.
Chase tried calling Matt once again, but of course no answer. He found Matt’s dad’s name and called it. His dad answered and Chase said," Hey, it’s Chase where’s Matt at. He has coursework finals today, and he won’t answer his phone.”
Matt’s dad said,” What! He didn’t say a fucking word about it to me. One sec’ Chase.” He went upstairs and opened his sons room door. “Get up you lazy ass. Get your ass in that shower and off to your school.” Matt tried to butt in and tell him that he didn’t have them today, but his dad wouldn’t listen.
“ Get up now!” His dad’s voice bellowed throughout the room and it immediately got Matt up. Matt followed his dad’s instructions, and rushed out of the house, happy to be gone from his abusive father. He picked up his phone and saw Chase’s message. He listened to it and realized what had happened was all set up.
Chase had already hung up before the hollering. He waited for Matt’s call, and when it came a smile spread across his face. He picked it up and responded,” Good morning sunshine. Did you like your wakeup call?”
“That wasn’t funny, it scared the shit out of me.”
“Actually, I’m sure it was really funny. Anyways, wanna come to the prep’s party today?”
“You’re actually going to go to that? They’re all childish there how fun is that?”
“We’re going to crash it though. It will be fun you coming?”
“I guess, who else is coming?”
“Well, Herp is going and Kirra. That’s all I know so far. Here, I’ll call you back when I figure it out.”
“Don’t call her herp Chase, she doesn’t like it.” Chase had already hung up. Matt always questioned his friendship with Chase. Chase was a horrible friend, but Matt always hung around.
Matt wasn’t popular, nor a nerd. He had long brown hair, which he personally hated so he always had some sort of hat on. He wasn’t very toned either. He had no sense of style, he put on whatever smelled good from his floor. He was about six feet in height, and he always is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not to mention how he always likes the wrong things. Since age 9, he has been in love with Taylor, Chase’s girlfriend.
Chase called back Taylor she once again answered and he said,” Matt is going. Want me to invite some of the others?”
“ Okay good. I’ll tell Kirra.”
“ Kay good. Talk to you later herp.”
Taylor thought to herself how much she hated that, but she did love Chase, so what was she going to do.
Chase then called Fi, Taylor’s best friend. She answered and he said,” Me, Taylor, Kirra, and Matt are going to the prep’s party later you coming?”
“ Hell yah I am. I got to go though. Have to practice my piano.”
“ Okay talk to you later Fi.” Chase hung up and continued down the street he was on. He was trying to get to the café where Matt always hangs out on Saturday mornings. He then decided to call Maxxie and see if he could go as well. He called once and he too answered. “Hey Max, what you up to.”
“Hey, not much just getting ready to leave the studio.”
“Oh all right. You want to come to a party later with me and some others.”
“Well, sure I can try. Where’s it at.”
“Dunno. Meet me in front of the school at seven though.”
“All right I’ll try. Kinda busy right now gotta go.” Max hung up the phone and left the studio where he danced. Max had blond hair that was brushed in a sort of curve and it is one of his best features. He had vibrant green eyes that shined out of his slight tan-ish complexion. Being a dancer, he has a fit body, which is very muscular. He isn’t very tall, and the one thing different about him is he is gay. He isn’t a typical gay though. Everyone knows he is, and he doesn’t show it very much. He doesn’t normally mention his sexuality and by a first glance you wouldn’t be able to tell that he is. He is actually accepted as just one of the guys in the group. He doesn’t get different treatment he’s just one of the mates.
Chase once again called another person. This time it was Oliver. Oliver didn’t answer, so Chase assumed he was at church or something. After about a minute though, Oliver called him back and told him,” Hey I’m kinda busy at church right now.
“I kinda figured that. Can you talk?”
“Yah I guess, but make it quick.”
“Everyone’s going to party later and you’re coming. Meet in front of the school at seven, bye.” With that he hung up the phone and he saw the Café in view. Matt of course was sitting there eating his breakfast. Chase went inside and sat at the table with him. Just then, once again his phone rang and this time it was Taylor.
“Hey, can you come to the lil’ café Matt is always at?” said Chase.
“Uhh sure gimme 5 minutes.” Taylor finished putting her makeup on, and walked outside. She walked to the café and sat down right next to Chase. She kissed Chase, and Chase responded by grabbing her by her head and insisting on doing more. Matt of course disliked it for he liked Taylor too, so he just turned his head. After what seemed like forever, Chase told them who was going later. Chase then said to Taylor,” You think Kirra would help Matt with his problem.”
“You aren’t honestly, I barely no her.” Said Matt.
“Do you want to lose it or not. I refuse to be associated with some loser virgin. Stop fucking around.” Chase beamed back.
Taylor butted in and said,” I think that is the whole point Kirra wants to get to know him. Who knows how she is now though.”
“Well hopefully she takes those pills tonight. What’s wrong with her?”
“She has problems with some part of her brain. Causes her to do crazy shit. I don’t really no what is actually wrong though.”
“That makes me want to meet her a lot.” Matt responded.
“Anyways Matt, I need you to get some stuff for me. If she is on her pills, she obviously wont do anything with you once she sees what you look like so the best option it to get her stoned. Go talk to this guy and he’ll get you some stuff.” Chase took out a piece of paper that had the name Sad Sadder on it.
“Sad Sadder? What the fuck is that. Some crazy addict?”
“I’ve been to him before. He’s good as long as you don’t piss him off in any way.”
“I ain’t fucking doing that hell no.”
“Get a grip. It isn’t like I’m telling you to do something that bad.”
“Fine… I’ll do it only if you promise to help me with Kirra.”
“Wow. Okay. You better go now before it gets to late.”
Matt sighed and left. He found a taxi eventually, got in it and told them where Chase had said to go. Chase and Taylor again started to be rough with each other when Taylor suggested to go to her house. They both left too, and the Café was deserted.

“Hey Kale how’s those pills been lately.” Said Fi.
“To many to count. Which ones do you mean?” Kale responded.
“You’re Viagra. Or at least I wanna know buddy.” Max butted in.
“Oh those pills. They work and they help a lot. Just be happy you don’t have to take them. People say they see my cock everyday sticking out cause of them.” Kale said.
“Whattya mean. It’s too small to see shit. I mean look right now. Nothing.” Said Fi.
Maxxie laughed and said,” Don’t make fun of Kale it’s not his fault he’s like that. “
“I’m not making fun of him. Sometimes they’re better small. Depends on the person.” She winked at Kale and chuckled a bit.
“Well then, what are you guys doing tonight?” Kale said trying to change the subject before Max would say anything else.
“Well, Kirra is getting out of her confinement today. I wonder how she is now. Oh and there is a party at the prep’s places.” Said Fi.
“Oh, hadn’t heard about it. Who’s going?” Kale asked.
“Chase didn’t invite you? Weird, anyways I’m pretty sure most people are gonna go. Are you Max?” Fi asked.
“Thinking about it. Kale you should come anyways, you can go with me.” Said Max.
“Alright if you go Max, I’ll go.”
“Okay nice. Thanks man.” Maxxie told him.
Just then Oliver was walking by the park the group was in and decided to join them. “Hey Max buddy! Hey to you guys to. You guys going to the party thing later?” Oliver asked.
“We’re all going.” Kale told him.
“Oh cool. So, where Taylor and Chase at?”….

Taylor sat down on the bench and thought about her time with Chase earlier. “Good times” she thought to herself. “Where is Kirra she was supposed to be her ten minutes ago.” Just at the moment Kirra popped up behind Taylor and said,” Hey Taylor! Long time no see!”
Taylor was startled by her sudden speech and jumped a bit in her seat. “Geez Kirra don’t do that! How you been lately?”
“Good. Just not eating cause the pills I take make me less hungry, but I’m good.”
“Oh. Well it’s nice now that you’re out. Come on lets go for a walk.” They left and went onto the side streets.
“So you still with Chase?” asked Kirra.
“Yah, still going well. He’s just gotten a bit different lately. He won’t say I love you or anything. Oh and he always calls me Herp. It is starting to bug the shit out of me, but what can I do.”
“Yah well, he’s Chase after all. You know how he is.”
“Well I know you’re right. So are you out for good now?”
Kirra, trying to change the subject quickly said,” Ooh, look there. A wedding dress shop come one lets go in.” They walked in and the two dresses on display (one for a man, one for a woman.) immediately caught they’re attention. Well who wouldn’t by a Versace?
“Haha, I’ll play Chase you play Taylor.” Said Kirra. Just then the woman who worked at the store said,” What are you doing here?”
“My friend is getting married soon we need a dress.” Said Kirra.
“She looks way to young to be getting married, get out now.”
“Please don’t anger her. She’s pregnant and when she gets angered she faints.” Kirra leaned over to Taylor and hugged her. “Faint now.” She whispered in Taylor’s ear.
“Faint!” She whispered again. Then it dawned on Taylor and she immediately fell into Kirra’s arms.
“Quick! I need a wet towel and a glass of water!” Kirra said.
“We don’t have towels.” The woman said frantically.
“Water then hurry the hell up!” Kirra responded.
“Yes, right away. The woman left the office to go find water for Taylor. Taylor immediately woke up, and the two took the dresses off the stands. They both put them on and ran out of the store as quickly as they could. They kept running and running until they got far enough.
“I miss these times Kirra.” Said Taylor.
“Me too!” Kirra took Taylor’s arms and started to spin her around in circles, just playing with her.
“Of course the best moments are when we do something illegal.” Taylor said.
“Of course they are.” Kirra said falling to the ground from being so dizzy. Taylor too fell to the ground and said,” I really did miss you Kirra.”
“Well good. You’re supposed to miss me. I guess we should return the dresses now huh?”
“Why? That’s stupid, they’re ours now.”
“You’re right. Well, we should at least change out of them before anything suspicious happens.”
“My house is right over there let’s go.” They went off and they got to her house. They crept upstairs and took the dresses off. They neatly put them into Taylor’s room and sat onto her bed.
“So where is Chase at?”
“I don’t know he was here earlier.”
“Oh, did you have fun?”
“It was uhh… interesting. He tried out some new tricks and I didn’t really like them.”
“Oh I see. Did they hurt?”
“No, just things went in awkward places. Places they should never be. You know…”
“Yes, I do know, I think.” Just at that moment the doorbell rang and Taylor ran down the stairs. She looked through the peep hole and luckily, it was not the police. It actually was Fi, Kale, Oliver, and Max. Taylor opened the door and Fi said,” Hey wanna go fine something to wear for the party later with us?”
“Kirra is here and I really don’t care what I wear. We’re kinda busy, but I’ll see you guys later. You’re welcome to join us if you want.”
“Well I don’t think anyone wants to so I’ll just see you later I guess.”
Max had different plans,” Hey I wanna talk with you guys. Haven’t seen Kirra in years.” Max pushed through the door and went up the stairs. Taylor closed the door after saying goodbye and closely followed behind Maxxie. Max sat in the middle with both girls on the sides of him.
“Wow Maxxie, you’ve changed quite a bit. Too bad your gay though…” Kirra said.
“Why is that bad?” Maxxie asked even though he knew the answer.
“Oh never mind. So do you have a boyfriend?”
“No I like one night stands better.” They all laughed and Kirra told him,” Oh. I miss those it has been 6 years since the last time I saw a dick.” Kirra giggled, trying to sound slutty hoping to get into Maxxie’s head.
“Wow Kirra 6 years? Honestly?” Taylor replied.
“Yah, I long to see what a real mans looks like.” Kirra teased. “If only somehow I could see one right now.”
“Well, I would like to help you, but I honestly don’t see how I could.” Maxxie taunted.
“Oh, I think I know how you can…” She put her leg around maxxie and he arms, and started to nuzzle his neck. Max didn’t really feel bothered by her, so he turned and repeated her actions.
“Well you know. There are many people you could get easily if you wanted to. How ‘bout Matt?” Maxxie asked.
“Him? I didn’t plan on anything tonight, but I guess it is possible. But, I would rather something more quick.”
“ Kirra! That is enough, you obviously wont get anything from him. He is gay for fucks sake!” Taylor hollered.
“Don’t worry about me Taylor. I will be fine.” Maxxie responded. Kirra then turned herself over so she was literally on top of Max. “Well then, fine I guess… I’ll just let it float out of my mind.” She got off him, but of course not without doing something. She skimmed her hand across the crotch of his jeans, hoping for a reaction. Maxxie didn’t squirm though, not one bit. He stayed calm and relaxed.
Taylor let out a giggle and she realized how fun this could be. “Well Kirra maybe he is just afraid of what we’ll think of it. I have several gay friends and they do stuff for me when I want them to.”
“Jeez! Fine, what do you want me to fucking do!” Max retorted.
Kirra laughed and said,” show me a real mans…cock.”
Taylor giggled to,” I’m sure we can do something for you if you just do us this one little itty bitty favor.”
“Taylor, you have a boyfriend, what the hell do you think he would think?” Max asked.
“He doesn’t have to know now does he?” Kirra and Taylor said at the exact same time.
“Hmm, what can two girls do for me anyways?” Asked Max.
“Uhh, good question. Well, there’s a lot of things if I actually want to sit down and think about them, but the first thing that comes to my mind is head.” Kirra said.
“Well, let me repeat. Two GIRLS.”
“Silly Maxxie, head is universal. Gay guys and all girls can give it the same way.” Taylor said.
“Yeah, but it is just not the same.”
“Just imagine a guy giving it to you, that should do the trick.” Kirra told him.
“I just can’t sorry.”
“Oh well then guess we just can’t be friends then.” Kirra said sounding as serious as possible to scare Max.
“I agree with Kirra.” Taylor said. “Just leave.”
“Fine!” Max yelled trying not to sound scared.
“Yay!” responded Kirra. She got down and back on top of him. She took off his shirt, and started on the belt.
“Fuck…” Maxxie muttered to himself. She finished hit belt and undid his jeans. She took them off and then she said,” Okay there Maxxie buddy.” Trying to sound like she cared.
“Yeah, never better. I feel fine.” A fake smile illuminated his face. By this time Taylor was sitting up against the wall, watching every little movement Kirra did. Kirra then pulled off the last article of clothing and Maxxie then started to worry.
“Wow Max. This is exactly how I hoped it would be, but better.” Kirra said. Taylor had a shocked look on her face. “ Wow Kirra. You actually did do that. Max why did you even let her…” Taylor didn’t think Kirra would actually take it all off. That was ridiculous to Taylor.
“Well, what do you think Taylor?” Kirra said while trying to paint a mental picture of Max.
“ Well, much better than Chase, I must say.” Taylor told her. Max laughed to try and hide his uncomfortably. “Thanks…I guess.”
“ Well. Wow Max, seeing as she has a boyfriend, she can’t give you it. Then, personally, I think it is to perfect to touch let alone suck, so I can’t do it.” Max knew he had been played, but he for some reason, was fine with it.
“ I honestly do not know what to say to that.” Max told them. He repositioned himself on the bed and Taylor asked,” Aren’t you going to put your clothes back on?”
“Nope, I’m fine. You can put them on if you really want though.” Max laughed. Kirra giggled too and laid back down resting her head on Maxxie’s chest. “So Taylor you rather have Max than Chase.”
“If it was possible I guess, I don’t know.”
“I guess that’s half right.” Kirra told her.

Matt got off the taxi and checked the paper from Chase again. He had the right address and all, it just looked, normal. He knocked on the door and a girl in a skimpy outfit came to the door.
“You my 4 o’clock appointment kid?” She said.
“Maybe I have the wrong house I don’t know is a Sad Sadder there?” Matt asked.
“Yeah, what’s it to you?”
“Well my friend said to go her to pick up some shit of some sort.”
“Shit huh? What kind of shit.”
“Whatever drugs he has, I really do not know.”
“Well, come inside. Want someone to come and do stuff for you?”
“What do you mean stuff?”
“You know, fuck around.”
“Oh, no I’m fine. Thanks though, I guess.” The woman led Matt to a living room, where she told him to sit and wait. Matt waited almost an hour. The noises coming up stairs suggested it was a whorehouse he was in. They were quite awkward, but he tried to tune them out. Then after the quieted down a scrawny man in his early 30’s came out of the hallway.
“You here for this?” He pulled out a square of drugs and handed it to him.
“Yah, I think. What is it?”
“Your normal weed nothing special.”
“Okay thanks, how much do I need to pay you for it?”
“Well it’s a 3-step process. The 1st step is something you can do for me right now. The 2nd step is the payment in cash. The 3rd step is the same as the 1st step, but you do it after you pay me.”
“Really? I can do it right now? What is it?” Sad sat down right next to Matt. Matt feeling a little personally invaded, scooted over. Sad followed him. Matt scooted over to the other couch. Sad followed again. Matt then moved to the furthest place possible, and Sad sat right down next to him.
“You got balls kid?”
“Excuse me?”
“You got balls?”
“Wait, come again?” But it came out to late Sad had stuck his hand in places it should not have gone. Matt got a sudden rush of feeling both painful and awkward, and he had to squirm. Sad muttered to himself has he violently treated Matt and after what seemed like forever he said,” Never mind. It isn’t worth it with you. Skip step one and three.” Matt half confused and half embarrassed got up from the couch.
“When do I have to pay you?”
“Two weeks tops, if you don’t, well let’s not get into that, I don’t think you want to even imagine. But here’s a hint.” Sad got up and pushed Matt to the ground. He repeated his action on the couch, this time even more violently causing Matt to cry out in agony. Eventually he loosened his grip and let Matt get up. Matt hobbled off in total pain and ran out the door. He slowly slipped the drugs into his pocket. He called up Chase on the phone and he did answer.
“Hey I got the shit from that crazy guy.” Matt said.
“What he make you do?” Chase responded.
“He grabbed my balls and said never mind.”
“Ouch, sorry man. Anyways where are you?”
“I’m walking down his street where are you?”
“In my room, getting ready to leave. Have to be to the school by six to meet everyone.”
“Oh, I’ll meet you there, gotta go see you then.” Matt hung up his phone and walked down the empty street to a main highway. He stopped a taxi and hopped in. “Melfore and Melfron College please.”

Fi, Oliver, and Kale walked down the street. Fi of course had to stop in every shop possible to find something to wear. She wasn’t a shop-aholic she just liked looking good. Oliver and Kale were both complaining of the shopping. After about 2 hours of searching, Fi found a dress, which Oliver and Kale both found hideous, but she liked it. She bought the dress and walked out of the store.
“Finally, she’s done.” Oliver whined.
“Done? I still need makeup and to get my hair done. I have shoes at home be thankful for that.” Fi beamed. Oliver and Kale sighed to themselves and followed her. They came to Fi’s normal beauty/hair salon, and they walked in. After 30 minutes of waiting for her, Kale and Oliver gave a note to the front desk for Fi. It stated,” You know we love you Fi, but this is fucking stupid. We left. Duh. See you at the school later. –Oliver and Kale.
Fi read the note, but she wasn’t offended by it. She actually liked how they stayed that long with her. She walked out of the salon and caught a cab. She took it home and went inside. Once inside her room, she noticed that she had 45 minutes to get to the school. She put on her new clothes, and looked in the mirror. Of course she hated it now, but she had to wear it. She put on her shoes and she ran out the door. She ran down the street frantically trying to get to the school. It was a 20 minutes run, and she had 5 minutes. She called up Taylor, and was put through.
“Hey I’m running a bit late can you wait for me?”
“No worries Fi, only me, Chase, Max and Kirra are here.”
“Kay thanks, bye!” Fi hung up the phone and quickly ran down the streets. After 30 minutes of running, she actually got there, but of course no sign of Oliver or Kale or Matt.
“Of course they’re late…” They waited another five minutes for the two to show up, but after no sign of them they left. Once they got to the house, most of them went inside, but Kirra, Taylor and Chase stayed outside to wait. Chase eventually called Matt and asked him where he was.
“Right in front of you.” Matt told him. Chase looked straight in front of him and there he was. Simple, old, plain Matt. Matt ran across the street and greeted them.
“This is Kirra, Matt.” Taylor told him.
“Nice to meet you Kirra, I guess.”
“Wow, is he the one who I’m suppose to fuck?” Kirra said.
“Pretty much, don’t make fun of what’s there though, it isn’t his fault.” Chase explained to Kirra.
“Okay…Shall we go inside now?” Taylor asked. Everyone agreed and they all went inside.
“What the fuck.” Chase said after entering. “Whose party is this a five year olds?” The house looked like an antique, and they were told not to touch a thing within it. In the middle of a type of living room was a stand set up with a thing of punch, nothing else.
“I told you it would be shit.” Taylor said. They went into the room where the DJ was and he was giving his before speech.
“So we’re all gonna mess around and be crazy you know chums? So lets get this rad party started homies.” The DJ said trying to act like he was cool when in fact he sounded like a dumb ass. Kirra who seemed discontented walked around the house and Matt followed closely behind. She walked until she found one specific room. The kitchen. “Ahh, this is the best room in the house. I bet it’s unorganized too.” She went over to the nearest cabinets, and took everything out and put it on the counter next to her.
“See you have to put like items together. The way they have it is just horrific.” Matt went over and tried to touch one of the items she had taken out and she slapped his hand.
“Don’t touch a thing.” She snapped at him. She started rearranging the food in pyramid shaped stacks and in no time finished.
“Much better she said.”
“Do you like organizing cabinets?”
“No, I like looking at and touching food. It is almost the same as eating it. It satisfied me.” Kirra told him.
“Do you eat Kirra?”
“Oh yes, I do. Well, I used to, but these pills they’ve put me on are like magic and now I don’t eat. Just organize.” Matt didn’t say a word, he sat there like a little boy twiddling his thumbs.
“Here, come with me.” She took him by the hand and went out the kitchen door. She looked around and saw a humongous trampoline in the middle of the back lawn. She pulled from his arm and jumped onto the trampoline. He of course was pulled up to and they sat there and stared at the stars.

Oliver and Kale heard the music from the school (which they came an hour late to) and they followed the sound. Eventually they got to the house and went inside. They had the same expression on there face when they walked in. The only difference was, everyone they knew were actually dancing, well more freaking, and the rest were standing there watching because they couldn’t do that and didn’t want to look like fools.
“Well you guys are in luck. Kale is here!” Kale ripped off his shirt and went over to a random group of girls and tried to dance with them.
“Take off all your clothes why don’t you.”
“Well if you say so, I guess.” He pulled down his shorts and took them off, but one girl said,” Don’t you dare.” He stopped, but didn’t bother putting his clothes back on. In no time Kale and Oliver had everyone attempting to dance to the beat of the music. All night they danced to the music the DJ was trying to play, they would have continued if it were not for Matt and his problem.
“You want to do it now?” Kirra asked him.
“What? What makes you think that’s what I want?”
“Taylor told me.” She giggled.
“Of fucking course.” Matt said.
“Yeah we were talking about how she loves Chase the most. She thinks you’re sweet in all, but it won’t happen.”
“Sweet? What the fuck.”
“Yeah, sweet. Well, make it quick if you want.” Kirra said.
“Wait, why does it have to be quick?”
“I took these pills and I’m getting kinda fuzzy.”
“What? What did you take…Kirra?” Matt said it to late, Kirra had passed out right next to him, and Matt thought she had overdosed. He frantically tried to wake her up, but when it wouldn’t work, he tried picking her up. He got her over his shoulder and took her inside. He ran over to everyone and said,” Kirra has overdosed we need to do something.” Taylor eventually got everyone out of the house, and she stole the car keys on the front table. Somehow, Chase, Matt, Kirra, Taylor, Kale, Oliver, Fi, and Max all fit in the car along with some fat girl from the party Kale was getting it on with. Matt drove the car even though he hadn’t gotten his license, he was determined to rescue Kirra. He drove like a maniac down the road, almost running into other cars, he ran at least 10 red lights and of course everyone was complaining.
“What the fuck are you doing Matt!” Chase hollered from right next to him.
“Pull over and let me drive!” Taylor hollered. Everyone seemed to say the same thing to each other as he drove down the road. Eventually, they reached the hospital, and right at that moment, a peep came from the back.
“Nice driving Matt.” Kirra laughed.
“Kirra are you alright?” Matt said sounding like a concerned parent.
“I’m fine, I was just taking a nap.”
“You scared the shit out of me! What the hell is wrong with you?”
“Can you drive us to harbor Chase?” Kirra said changing the subject completely.
“Uh, yah sure.” Chase got out of his side of the car and went over to Matt’s he grabbed him and took him out of the seat, and got in the drivers seat. He drove over to the harbor, just to make it nice for Kirra In hopes for Matt not being a total loser this year at college. However, like an idiot, he forgot to put the car in park and it started to roll towards the water. “Shit.” Everyone screamed, but Chase put the stick shift into park, and everyone was fine once he slammed the breaks down. Matt leaned back to talk to Kirra.
“Can you give me another kiss Matty?” Kirra said.
“Sure I suppose.” He leaned back, and right before he got to her lips he slipped and his whole body pushed against the shift, and the car started to roll again. This time Chase wasn’t ready and it was to late by the time he pushed the break pedal. The car heaved into the metal bars surrounding the water and took them with it as it plunged into the ocean. Everyone frantically pushed out of the car, and one by one they all pushed to the top.
Tire and soaked, they all climbed out of the water, back onto the concrete.
“Thanks Matt…” Everyone told him.
“Shit what about the drugs? I never used them.” Matt said running back to look in the water. The box had already floated to the top, and the powder had turned the water white in some areas. The group walked past the harbor and back into the streets of suburbia.
“So what do you guys wanna do with our last day of vacation?” Max asked.
“I don’t know Max. I was thinking we could all just go home and do whatever.” The group all agreed, and they all went there separate ways.

Ring! The bell rang and everyone rushed to class. The kids in the psychology class took there seat. In the very back row, was Chase, Taylor, Matt, Kirra, and Fi. In front of them were Max, Oliver, Kale and 2 other kids. The teacher turned around from the front of the classroom showing her face for the first time. The class like all first days was a basic intro to the third year of psychology. Names, what to expect, rules and everything allowed for the year.
After four hours of introductions, the bell finally rang for lunch. Everyone rushed out except one person, Kale. Kale slowly packed his stuff up, waiting for Angie, the teacher to talk to him.
“Kale right?” Angie said.
“Yeah, Angie.” He smiled at her and she smiled back at him.
“Although I’d really like to say and chat, I really need to get going, I’m late for a meeting, so can you please hurry up?” Angie said trying to get him to leave.
“Sure.” He packed his stuff up quickly and walked out. He waited for Angie to follow, and he said,” Can I help you with your books?”
“Oh that wont be necessary. I think I got it under control.” Angie told him trying to sound like a teacher.
“C’mon you know you want me to.” She smiled at him and said,” Fine then.” He took her books from her and followed her out and put them in her car. He stared at her as she put the key in the ignition and started it up.
“Bye!” He yelled to her as she pulled out and left. Kale walked over to the benches where he saw his friends. He sat down next to them and of course they started to talk to him.
“You want that Kale?” Fi asked him.
“Who wouldn’t?” Kale asked her.
“Me.” Oliver said.
“Me too.” Max said.
“Well you guys have no taste in girls.” Kale laughed and asked,” Where Taylor and Chase? They’re always here.”
“Who knows where they are you know how they get. Especially at school.” Matt said while pulling Kirra onto the bench.

Taylor giggled as she pulled Chase down the hallway. “The nurse is never here come on.” She pulled him into the nurse’s office and pushed him against the bed. She started to kiss him and he kissed her back. Both becoming rougher gradually, they took it a step further. Taylor pulled off Chase’s shirt, and he repeated her action. She undid his pants and pulled them off. He took hers off and she moved her hand down while laying on the bed.
“Then, if you move this way, you will be in our health office where we have a certified doctor around the clock.” The dean said as he opened the door to where Chase and Taylor were.
“Oh my god.” They all said in unison. Chase and Taylor stood up and put on their clothing.
“My office now.” The dean said trying to sound official. Chase and Taylor laughed as they walked off into the halls.
“Want to just ditch and fuck it up?” Chase offered.
“No, I think it would be more fun to go and talk ourselves out of it. If he we leave he has something we can not talk ourselves out of.” Taylor responded. They both leapt around biding their time as they walked down the hall towards the offices. They both stood in front of the door to enter his office. They opened the door, and he was actually there.
“Ah, sit down you two.” He said. They both sat down, prepared for his stupid teacher talk. “Now I understand that you are teenagers. Your hormones are raging and you like to explore each others bodies. I remember being like that, it was nice. However, it does not give you the right to do it in school. Those people who walked in with me were people looking into investing in the school. Now, they have left. You are just lucky they weren’t going to donate that much.” They both laughed at his comments, and he continued on,” Now, since it’s the first day of school, I wont give you any sever punishment, but you will get something.”
“Detention sounds nice.” Chase said.
“Yeah, I agree with Chase.” Taylor responded.
“Alright, I guess that is kind of fair.” He responded.
“Also, there’s one condition.” Taylor said. She took a piece of paper from his desk and a pen and wrote down six names. She handed him the paper and continued,” These people I know for a fact have all done it before.”
“Some even today.” Chase added.
“Very well, I will talk to them. Now you may go.” The two left the office and once out they burst into laughter. They then went off to class, to watch the action.

“Fuck you both.” Matt said.
“I think it’s quite funny actually Matt.” Kirra beamed.
“Not really. This isn’t my idea of fun.” Fi retorted.
“There’s no teacher, what not fun about that?” Max asked.
“I’ll tell you what not fun. I’m missing out on church right now.” Oliver said.
“Fuck that, that is even more boring.” Max responded.
“Well, I think this is pretty fun considering all of us here alone, there is endless possibilities.” Kale added.
“Think of it this way. We can bond together even more and make memories.” Chase said sounding very enthusiastic.
“How about we play a truth or dare game, like old times. Only better now.” Taylor said. They all agreed and decided to play. They drew one name from a hat, which was Matt’s, to decide who would go first. The first one up was Fi.
“Okay Kale. Truth or dare?”
“Has Maxxie over there ever sucked your cock.”
“Don’t you fucking answer that Kale.” Max hollered.
“I’ll take that as a yes then?” Fi said.
“Sorry dude. Gotta play the game fairly… Yeah, a while back.” Of course the natural ruckus was about, and then it was Kale’s turn.
“Chase, truth or dare?”
“Dare, of course.”
“Aha, hmmm. How about you go tea-bag Fi over there. Clothes on though.” Chase got up and went over to Fi. Fi giggled a bit and Chase pushed her to the ground. He smoothly went about his business with her, and she didn’t squirm a bit. He left her and sat back in his seat. Taylor laughed the whole time to try and conceal her anger, but Fi could see through it, and she did feel sorry.
Chase contemplated about who to ask for a moment. Finally he talked and said,” Okay Max. Truth or dare.”
“Honestly dude? Truth, for now.”
“When and why did you give head to Kale.”
“Of fucking course. Three years ago, he went out and got stoned and all drunk. What’s new though…I didn’t really know him back then, and he told me he was actually gay. So, it happened, and right after I gave it to him he admitted he wasn’t gay. A weird moment, but it sparked our friendship in some strange way.”
“Wow Max, you’re a whore.” Kirra yelled.
“I don’t try to be, I just…am.” Max admitted. Kale who seemed to be embarrassed ducked his head into his shorts.
“Thanks for that insight on your life Max.” Chase said.
“Alright Taylor, which one?”
“Eh, truth.”
“If Chase got ran over by a bus, would you stick with him through the hospital, even if he were to die in 5 months?”
“Of course I would. I would be there until the last day.”
“Oh really.” Max said. He thought he could read an expression on her face that meant no, but her answer was yes which confused him, but he went on with the game.
“Kirra, truth or dare?”
“Dare, what else is there?”
“Go make out and feel up with Oliver. Then suck through the jeans.” Kirra got up and went over to Oliver. She took hold of his black hair, and kissed him. She violently went about her kissing, then she quickly mover her hand down. She kissed him for three minutes, trying to ignore his inexperience. At least he was trying. She got down on the floor, and did the rest of it. Oliver obviously felt nothing through it, his face had the ‘what the fuck’ expression on it, not the pleasurable expression. She got up after a few minutes and said,” Next time can we do some good dares, not these middle school ones?” Everyone seemed to agree and the game went on with Kirra.
“Matt, how about you?”
“Would you rather fuck me or Taylor?”
“Well, that’s a good question. You, well you…I don’t know. I have to say Taylor because of how long I’ve known her.”
“Whoa Matt, if you really want to I can help you out.” Chase said.
“Uh no Chase I think I’ll pass.”
“Oh, I guess that’s okay. Well, your turn.” Kirra said with a disappointed look. Apparently Matt didn’t care about her. Or at least that was the thought running through her mind.
“Alright how ‘bout you Fi?”
“Truth, I’m not doing a dare from you.”
“Would you rather fuck around with Oliver, Kale, Chase, or Max?”
“Chase is unavailable. Maxxie is Maxxie. Well, by what I’ve heard Kale is horrible in the downstairs. However, Oliver is just to inexperienced. Yet, if I have to pick one I would pick Kale. You never know.” Reactions came from everyone. Oliver seemed disappointed in himself, but Kale was happy.
“Max, truth or dare?”
“Dare sounds nice, shoot.”
“Dare? Really? Nice. Go teach Matt how to turn a Kirra on.”
Max smiled and got up. Matt too stood up, thinking he could back up. Max went up to him and whispered into his ear,” Stare into her eyes and have a shy smile. Then if she starts looking at her feet and smiling, you’ve passed the preliminaries.” He moved his head back and said,” Then give her one gentle kiss on the lips. If she kisses you back, take her by the hair and you can get a bit rougher. From there you can just lead or she can.”
“Hey Max. I said show, not tell.” Fi hollered.
“Fine then.” Max responded. Max did everything he told him, up to the kissing part. Matt tried to back away, but Max pinned him against the corner. He gave Matt a peck, and when he didn’t respond Chase hollered,” Matt you have to do whatever he told you to. Bide by the rules.”
“Fine, fuck you all.” Matt kissed him back, but very awkwardly. Max did it to, and lowered his head, he started to kiss Matt’s neck, and Matt started to squirm. Everyone laughed from behind because of Matt. Max got back up and Matt reluctantly moved his head down and repeated the same action.
“I think we get the point, would that work Kirra?” Fi asked.
“No, I need to see more, I need to know if Matt will really get into it.” Matt trying to get it over with pulled off Maxxie’s shirt and undid his belt and slid it off.
“Wow Matt. Are you sure you aren’t gay?” Kirra asked.
“Positive, aren’t you supposed to feel something?”
“Yeah, but I’m sure you did. Well, I guess that’s enough.” Kirra said. They finished their business and took their seats again.
“Matt, truth or dare?” Max asked.
“Truth, don’t even want to know what you want from me.”
“Did you learn anything from that?”
“I guess?” He said questioningly. He didn’t catch the whole point of the question until everyone was laughing, and then he felt even worse.
“Max truth or dare?” Matt angrily.
“Dare.” Max said.
“You and Taylor, right now until I say stop.”
“Really? That’s fucked up man, but fine.” Max got up and went over to a smiling Taylor. She got up and grabbed him from the back of his head. They started kissing, they both got rougher and rougher. Taylor pulled off Maxxie’s shirt, and worked on the belt. He took her shirt off, and started kissing her neck. She removed his belt and undid his jeans. He helped her remove them, and she helped him remove hers.
Chase smiled as they both did it. While some thought he felt something, he knew he really didn’t care. Matt felt a sense of jealousy over him, but he had to do this, just for some sort of revenge. But, when Max slipped his hand around her back and was getting ready to take it a step further, he couldn’t go through with it anymore.
“That’s enough you two.” The two didn’t stop for a few more minutes, but eventually they picked up their clothes and took their seats.
“Alright then. Oliver, truth or dare?” Max asked
“Hey someone is actually asking me. Truth.”
“Why are you so religious?”
“I’m not that religious. I’m best friends with you aren’t I? Just joking with you. I really do not know. I just find it nice that someone is there and can answer your deepest desires if you really ask and want them enough.”
“Fair enough, I guess…” Max said.
“Okay, Fi truth or dare?”
“Truth I guess, again.”
“Do you feel betrayed now that your best friend, Taylor, is only with Kirra most of the time?”
“Not at all. I know she’s just happy to see Kirra again, and we will be fine in a while. We love each other. You know how it is with you and Max.” Taylor had no clue what she was doing until this moment, and this opened up her eyes to what was happening, but she maintained her cool.
“Chase truth or dare?” Fi asked.
“Truth, no more dares for now.”
“Any particular reason why you didn’t stop Maxxie with Taylor?”
“Well there are two reasons. One, this is a game where you have to let things go, especially, if they don’t meant anything, it doesn’t really matter. Second, obviously she didn’t care much so why should I?” He said and told actually truthfully.
“Alright cool, your turn.”
“Taylor, truth or dare?”
“I want you to do the same thing you did with Max, until I say stop, but with Matt.”
“Uh, what the fuck? Honestly?” She asked Chase.
“Fine.” She got up and went over to Matt. She picked him up and pinned him against the wall. She removed his hat ad shirt quickly and started to kiss him. He eventually removed her shirt and she worked on his pants. He helped her take them off, and vice versa. They kissed for a while, and Chase sat there and smiled. He was going to stop them, but he figured Matt would stop before anything else happened. However, Matt put his hands around her body and undid her bra. Taylor who figured Chase was about to say something, helped him slip it off. Once it was off though Chase was sparked. He got up and took Matt and pushed him to the ground. He punched him right on the nose, and started to beat him.
“NO stop!” Screamed Taylor at the top of her lungs. It took Kale and Maxxie pulling at Chases arms to get him to stop the punching and beating of Matt.
At that moment, the game was over. Everyone took their seats, and a teary and blooded up Matt ran out of the room.
“You couldn’t of said fucking stop could you of?” Kirra said as she ran out to follow Matt.
“You’ve really don’t it this time Chase.” Fi said as she took Taylor’s arm and ran out of the classroom after Matt.
“It was just a game, what the hell.” Max yelled at Chase.
“Fuck you.” Chase said. “There is a difference between you and her and him and her. A game has its own limitations, and it hit its limits.” Chase explained to try and not sound like the bad guy.

Chase woke up and looked straight to the ceiling. He remembered what had happened last night to the best of his abilities, considering he had a hangover. He looked to his left and there lay Matt sleeping deeply.
“Fuck.” Chase said as he closed his eyes again.
